Turning Point is always in need of a helping hand. We're asking for your help! We need volunteers, interns, and donations.
Turning Point recruits volunteers year-round. Our volunteers must go through one brief training session before starting with their duties. Volunteer trainings are offered at least once a quarter. Turning Point's volunteers use their talents in a variety of ways, whether it be in our administrative office or working directly with clients. Please contact (205) 758-0808, and ask to speak with our Volunteer Coordinator, for more information regarding the volunteer training process or volunteer opportunities. Volunteer trainings are offered at least once a quarter.
Turning Point accepts applications for student interns during the Spring, Summer and Fall Semesters. Students in relevant fields of study at both the secondary and post-secondary level are encouraged to contact the administrative office for openings. Please contact (205) 758-0808 for more information.
Turning Point is a 501(c)(3) non-profit social service agency. We provide services free of charge to victims as well as the public and could not continue to serve in this capacity without the generous support of the communities that we serve. Turning Point relies on both monetary and in-kind donations to continue to operate and serve West Alabama. Donations made to Turning Point are tax deductible.
Please check out our Donation Wishlist or contact the main office at (205) 758-0808 regarding any questions you may have about donation items.
